Holidays and Personal Days
NAS Surety NAS Surety Group employees receive a combined annual total of 13 days paid,
with generally nine company observed holidays and up to four personal days, which may vary by year.
Medical Plan/Dental
Plan
NAS Surety Group employees can choose between a Preferred Provider Organization
plan (PPO) or a managed care plan (HMO/DMO), both which include a vision care plan.
Select the plan that best fits your medical and dental coverage needs.
Savings Plan
Your contributions to the 401(k) plan are company matched dollar for dollar
up to the first 6% of pay on a pre-tax and/or after tax-tax basis. In
addition to the company match, once eligibility is met, you will receive
an annual company contribution equal to 6% of your base salary earned
in the plan year regardless of whether you are making your own contributions
to the Plan.
Employee Development/Educational
Assistance
We encourage continuing education for our employees by reimbursing them
100% for attending approved job-related seminars/classes or for eligible
courses applying toward degrees from accredited institutions.
Flex-Spending Account
Employees can set-aside pre-taxed dollars through payroll deductions to
pay for eligible out-of-pocket health, dental, and vision expenses, as
well as for dependent care expenses.
Life Insurance
Coverage is three times the employees' base salary (up to $1 million).
Accidental death and dismemberment insurance is also provided and pays
an additional amount equal to three times the base salary.
Short-Term Disability
This company-sponsored plan is provided to assist employees unable to
work for a period up to 26 weeks.
Long-Term Disability
A company sponsored plan to assist the employee unable to return to work
because of a disability.
Long Term Care
Insurance
Employees can purchase long term care insurance to pay for services of
a person trained to assist in the care of people unable to perform the
"normal" activities of daily living.
Employee Assistance
Program
A confidential counseling/referral service provided for employees.
